We specialize in the installation, repair and maintenance of commercial automatic pedestrian door systems, both sliding and swing configurations. Built on a reputation for quality workmanship and dependable service, ADR continues to expand to meet the needs of our growing client base.

We’re currently seeking an experienced skilled Technician to join our professional Team. This full-time role services clients throughout the Greater Melbourne area and offers the opportunity to work within a supportive, experienced team that values professionalism, safety and continuous improvement.

As part of our commitment to delivering dependable 24/7 customer support, you’ll participate in a rotating after-hours on-call roster.

**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be**:

- Diagnose, service and repair a range of automatic pedestrian door systems.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and safety checks.
- Assist in the commissioning and installation of products as required.
- Manage tasks independently, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and represent ADR professionally.
- Work collaboratively with security, access control, and building services teams.
- Complete service reports, record parts used and communicate clearly with clients.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold company values.
- Undertake occasional manual handling, including heavy lifting, as part of installation and service work.

**You’ll Bring To Our Team**:

- Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- Current Australian full driver’s license(essential).
- Working with Children’s Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check.
- Electrical or mechanical trade qualification (highly advantageous).
- Strong electrical or service technician background, with the ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics and technical manuals.
- Sound knowledge of door automation systems, including controls, sensors and safety devices.
- Reliable, proactive and committed to high-quality, safe workmanship.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus.
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights or in varied site conditions.
