AUSTLIFT PTY LTD in Wetherill Park is seeking to employ a Trades Assistant.

AUSTLIFT Pty Ltd is a major supplier of Material Handling Equipment, as well as a leading provider of a comprehensive range of inspection, testing, repair and programmed maintenance services. We provide superior lifting equipment sales and servicing to a range of sectors.

Our Wetherill Park based company is seeking to employ a Trades Assistant. We are a well-established growing company who offer a friendly work environment and competitive remuneration for the right people with packages to suit your requirements.

We are seeking people with welding/boiler maker trades experience and the position requires assisting in the installation and service work to be completed on Tail Lifts, and other Material Handling equipment.

We are seeking people with the following attributes:

- Self-motivation and ability to work unsupervised
- Material handling equipment installation experience
- Must be a competent welder
- Good communication skills - written & ora
- Good interpersonal skills for working with colleagues
- Computer literate - moderate skill level
- Minimum education level attained - School certificate
- Total Competence with a range of tools e.g. drilling, grinding, welding etc
- Good attention to detail
- Team player
- Drivers licence
- Forklift licence

Some of your duties will include:

- Provide assistance in the Installation and Service of Tailgates and other Material Handling Equipment
- Responsibility to keep general workshop tidy
- Undertake in-house repairs & services if required.

Other duties as directed by Coordinator/Supervisor from time to time

Desirable:

- Truck licence (preferably HR)

Field service positions may become available for people with previous experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
