Manager IT Economics

As the Manager IT Economic, you’ll provide financial management to ensure accurate cost control against approved financial budgets and plans, to analyse and prepare reports and present to key internal stakeholders (IT SLT, CIO, project managers and Group) and to manage the identification of cost savings, and track reduction realistion over time to ensure effective cost control.

**You’ll be responsible for**:
- Managing the annual planning process for all IT cost centres working in collaboration with IT leadership, Portfolio Managers and Business owners to ensure Allianz Finance receive all required inputs in a timely and accurate manner.- Managing identification of cost and efficiency savings and realisation of approved reductions to constrain or reduce the cost of IT services. Also manage IT spend against approved plan, investigate and report on variances to avoid unplanned overspend and cost centre forecasting for all IT cost centres to maintain an accurate view of future IT spend.- Managing provision of financial analysis, reporting and information to IT leadership in order to facilitate required decision making.- Supporting IT project managers in tracking, optimising and reporting on project financials and spend.- Managing tracking of the impact of projects (CAPEX) on operational costs (OPEX) to enable clear understanding of increased or reducing operational spend- Providing guidance, advice and support to IT leaders and other stakeholders on IT Economics matters.- Comprehensive knowledge of financial process within an IT department or organisation, including tracking, planning, and forecasting.- Significant experience in financial management within an IT department or organisation.- Knowledge of IT technologies and terminology to ensure understanding of cost drivers and categorisation.- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships internally and externally with stakeholders and suppliers.- Knowledge of IT Service Management processes desirable.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence.- Experience in identifying and achieving cost saving in a complex IT Environment.- Understanding of IT Total Cost of Ownership, preferably using the TBM model
