**THE TEAM**
The Therapy and Behaviour Support Team provides a range of direct and indirect services primarily to individuals and groups accessing NDIS, PSP/OOHC, disability and mental health services.
Newcastle/Hunter/Lake Macquarie based role (travel required)

**THE ROLE**
**ABOUT YOU**
To be successful you will have:

- Degree in Social Welfare, Social Work, Psychology or Behavioural Science or equivalent and/ or experience in behaviour assessment and the development of behaviour Support Plans.

**THE ESSENTIALS**
- Demonstrated capacity to implement the principles and processes related to positive behaviour support, trauma informed care and person-centred thinking
- Relevant experience in service delivery and management together with developing a range of clinical support plans/protocols
- Personal drive and initiative and demonstrated capacity in finding creative solutions to complex issues
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery and training and support to individuals, families and groups
- Ability to build and maintain rapport and positive relationships with individuals, families, groups and teams
- Demonstrated capacity in the use of MS Office based programs as well as web-based IT platforms
