**Three-month temporary / secondment role**
- 35-hours (full-time), city-based with hybrid options
- Salary up to $76,000 (commensurate with skills and experience) plus super

We are looking for a go-getter who wants direct experience working for an influential state-wide, member-based association.

In this role, you will enhance member and stakeholder engagement across a range of platforms - MAV and Vic Councils websites, members’ only extranet, intranet and social media. We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic, innovative and results-focused to partner various MAV service areas (including policy, procurement, insurance, learning & events and governance teams) to create compelling content.

**What you’ll deliver**
- Produce online content that advocates for local government interests and promotes the role of local government in the lives of Victorians
- Review current approaches to online engagement and identify opportunities for improvement or enhance member engagement
- Ability to support policy, advocacy and media specialists with your understanding of current issues and events

**What you’ll bring**
- Experience in delivering excellent online communications for diverse audiences and stakeholders
- Ability to work with a team to create written, audio and video content
- Know-how for collecting, analysing and reporting online communication performance to support improvement
- A collaborative approach to relationships with internal stakeholders
- Tertiary qualifications in communications or other relevant discipline with some relevant experience, or lesser formal qualifications with substantial experience relevant to the position
