**WHS Advisor (Return to Work and Compensation)**

**Location**: Melbourne CBD
**Duration**: Temporary
**Full-Time/Part-Time**: Full Time
**Salary**: Hourly rate negotiable

We are seeking a **Temporary WHS Advisor** to join our client's **Return to Work and Compensation Team**. In this critical role, you will provide expert advice and support to both employees and management in managing workplace injuries and illnesses, ensuring the smooth and successful return to work for affected staff.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with injured employees, healthcare providers, and managers to develop tailored return-to-work plans.
- Assist with the claims management process, providing advice on compensation and entitlements.
- Support employees throughout their rehabilitation process and facilitate their successful reintegration into the workplace.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to return-to-work activities and outcomes.
- Promote a culture of health, safety, and wellbeing across the organization.
- Advise on best practices for preventing workplace injuries and minimizing the risk of recurrence.

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Experience in workplace health and safety, return-to-work coordination, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of workers' compensation, rehabilitation, and injury management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and individuals.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to influence and support employees through the return-to-work process.
- Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety, Workers' Compensation, or similar is desirable.
