**Position**: Site and Factory Maintenance and Welding Technician
**Location**: Officer South

**Job Type**: Full-time

**About Sunset Sleepers**: Sunset Sleepers is a leading manufacturer and supplier of concrete sleepers for retaining walls. As we expand our product line, we are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team.

**What You'll Do**:

- Build and repair tools and molds
- Fix and maintain equipment
- Assemble various components and products
- Perform site maintenance tasks, including painting lines and weeding
- Operate and maintain power tools
- Perform MIG and stick welding
- Assist in the upkeep of factory and site facilities
- Operate a forklift as needed (desirable)
- Assist in building and construction tasks (desirable)
- Operate CNC machinery (desirable)

**What We're Looking For**:

- Proven experience in MIG and stick welding
- Good knowledge and experience using power tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift license (desirable)
- Building and construction experience (desirable)
- CNC experience (desirable)

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Officer, VIC 3809: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Maintenance: 1 year (required)
- MIG welding: 1 year (required)
- Stick welding: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
