Bennett is currently recruiting for a Legal Word Processor / Night Secretary.

**The opportunity**

Bennett is currently looking for a Legal Word Processor / Night Secretary. Your day-to-day tasks will include, but not be limited to:

- Transcription of dictations;
- Providing float secretarial support as may be needed;
- Filing of court documents;
- Any amendments requested by our fee-earners;
- Conflict checks;
- Undertaking property/company searches;
- Proofing/editing documents;
- Opening, closing and archiving of files;
- Drafting basic correspondence/documents;
- Answering incoming client calls afterhours.

**What you need**
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook;
- Experienced in dictation/transcription, with strong typing skills;
- Solid attention to detail;
- Collaborative approach and attitude;
- Ability to work with all levels of staff;
- Strong client service focus; and
- Superior organisational skills with a proactive attitude and focus.

Previous experience working in a law firm is essential.

Ideally you will be available to work afternoons and early evenings in order to provide after-hours assistance to our legal practitioners.
