Parts Interpreter

Diplomatik are currently seeking an experienced Parts Interpreter for a temporary to permanent position with a manufacturing client based in Landsdale.
The position is Monday
- Friday 38 hours per week with a weekly pay.
What does it involve?
- Review freight and shipping rates to ensure the most effective (cost and time) methods are used.
- Assist in providing regular flow of inventory to ensure adequate and appropriate supply in line with set Company guidelines.
- Monitor stock levels and utilise the forecast system to ensure that appropriate orders are placed and in store to enable markets and sales to be achieved.
- Make recommendations on stock levels and inter-branch transfers to the Parts Manager/Supervisor.
- Identify and record any product quality problems via discrepancy or through the non-conformance reporting system.
- Participate in stock takes and relevant parts call outs as required.
What do you need to have?
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a parts interpreting or related industry role.
- Basic knowledge of the principles of operation of Manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret uncatalogued, bulletins, and support literature.
- Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office programs (Outlook/Word/Excel)
- Completion or in the process of completing a Certificate in Parts Interpreting (desirable) or equivalent industry training and/or experience.
