Administration Officer

**As Administration Officer you are required to**:
- Provide general administrative support and develop and maintain administrative procedures and systems.
- Implement and administer departmental information systems, including those relating to financial, human resource management, correspondence, records management and plant and equipment.
- Provide support to others on the use of a range of software packages and databases to maintain and improve administration processes.
- Organise and coordinate functions, meetings and training activities by planning itineraries, venues, catering, travel bookings and accommodation as required.
- Liaise, consult and maintain effective relationships with team members, internal and external clients and other stakeholders.
- Actively contribute to an innovative Service Delivery directorate that values continuous improvement and a collaborative culture focused on achievement of objectives within approved timeframes and budgets.
- Undertake reception duties and handle client enquiries.
- Work flexibly and across boundaries to meet changing business needs and priorities.
- Support and help maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and are a part of day to day operations.

To be appointed to a permanent position, you must be an Australian citizen, have permanent residency status or a visa permitting you to work permanently in Australia. For temporary appointments, you must have a visa permitting you to work for the length of the temporary appointment.
