Position overview

The Australian National University is a world-class University home to remarkable visionaries, influential leaders and researchers creating impact and change nationally, regionally, and globally. The Investment Operations Manager is a key member of the Corporate Finance and Reporting team within the Finance and Business Services Division.

The Investment Operations Manager works in close collaboration with the Associate Director Corporate Finance and Reporting and the University Investment Office to provide advice, support, daily oversight of investment operational functions and middle office support. The Investment Operations Manager is responsible for managing the University’s asset custodian relationship, including compliance to Service Level Agreements. The Investment Operations Manager builds professional relationships with external fund managers, transactional and custodial banks and internal stakeholders.

The Investment Operations Manager plays a significant role in the implementation of investment operations procedures and processes and support the development of business requirements necessary for system enhancements and process improvements.
