**Position Overview**

The Global Institute for Women's Leadership (GIWL) at the Australian National University is looking for a new post-doctoral research fellow to join a collaborative research project led by Dr Elise Stephenson for a new phase of Investing in Women, a women’s economic empowerment program in Southeast Asia. This project will be undertaken in collaboration with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Abt Associates, and focuses on providing an evidence base and research thought leadership on women’s economic empowerment in Vietnam, Indonesia, Myanmar and the Philippines.

Researchers from a range of disciplines are encouraged to apply, including but not limited to political science, public policy, sociology, psychology, economics and more.

As a collaborative research project, you will be expected to work closely with partner organisations and fulfill the role of Research Coordinator for the project, drawing on both research and project management skills.
