Corporate Affair Advisor

This is a full-time role located in the Brisbane Head Office in the heart of CBD.

**You’ll make an impact by**:
Your role is to help tell our story to a range of internal and external audiences across all of our channels. You’ll assist everyone in the team to plan and produce clear and compelling content that achieves our business outcomes. You’re creative, collaborative and ready to make your mark in the team.
- You will contribute to the creation and execution of integrated internal and external communications plans that support business outcomes.
- You will work with key stakeholders to communicate their messages and support the roll-out of key communications activities.
- You will source and develop content for all channels to drive engagement, awareness, and promotion of Great Southern Bank and our initiatives.
- You will collaborate with in-house designers and/ or external suppliers to source or develop creative assets to accompany written content (e.g. photography, video, audio, graphics).
- You will support the Senior Manager Strategic Communications and other CAS leaders in executing major communication programs and events.
- You will draft and distribute communications materials for approval as required, including Workplace posts, media releases, briefing notes, FAQs, social media post, and web copy.
- You will provide support with team administration, including raising purchase orders, invoicing and creative services briefs.
- You will monitor and report on communications and social media activity to provide insights and track performance.
- You will establish trusted working relationships with stakeholders that deliver results.
- You will participate in a team on-call roster for monitoring/ responding to issues or crises outside normal business hours. (On-call approximately one week per month, including Saturday/ Sunday.)

**Do things differently with us**

**To succeed in this role, you will have**:

- 2+ years’ experience within a Corporate Affairs/Communications role, including developing communications materials for internal and external audiences.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience of contemporary communication skills and practices including social media, video editing, infographics and Sharepoint.
- A creative storyteller with excellent written, oral and visual communication skills
- Exposure to the development and execution of communication plans and campaigns
- Effective under pressure; able to juggle competing priorities, to meet tight deadlines with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience of working within the financial services industry desirable.
