UX Designer

**Objective**:
We require a senior design resource for a Payment initiative. They would be expected to support all customer, banker and operations facing payment activities coming out of the tribe
This senior role is expected to be the main UX resource working on projects. They are expected to direct the UX work on the project to align with the overall strategy of Payments. They are also expected to handle stakeholder interactions, run co-design workshops, doing wireframes, setting up and running banker/customer interviews, synthesising research findings, playing back findings to stakeholders, and providing suggestions and ideas based on user centred design principles.
The successful applicant would thrive in a high pressure, agile workplace with a high degree of ambiguity and be comfortable jumping in to help out where they see issues with little concern for whether it is in their job description or not.
**Requirements**:
- Must be comfortable in an agile and fluid environment
- An eager self-starter, comfortable seeking and finding information and building a network of contacts
- Must be a competent stakeholder manager, able to keep multiple stakeholders happy and aligned on the UX deliverables
- Confident running co-design sessions with stakeholders
- Comfortable working across multiple projects
- Capable of delivering to tight deadlines
- Have a "hand draw/wireframe first before touching Sketch" approach to design
- Must be able to tell a clear and compelling story to stakeholders communicating the vision for a project and helping them empathise with the end users
- Nice to have: Payment experience
**Deliverables**:
- Provide low-fi prototypes, supported by UI and accessibility, for shared understanding and playback to stakeholders
- Provide mid-fi interactive prototypes for user testing and developer requirements
- Provide synthesis of user testing results and recommendations
- Provide playback of findings and recommendations to key stakeholders
- Present designs and research findings in showcases to further promote the practice of design within NAB
