As a Manager for our Product Control team, you will lead a team of 4 product controllers who are responsible for the execution of Product Control support and analysis for specific trading desks within the Markets & Treasury businesses of NAB.

The role requires strong financial control and accounting disciplines along with key technical knowledge including, derivative valuation, P&L decomposition, and trading risk metrics.

**Key responsibilities will include;**
- Production of the daily P&L for assigned centres within the Fixed Income and Treasury businesses
- Comprehensive P&L analysis and attribution work including realised and unrealised P&L, new trades, amended trades, accruals, transfer pricing
- Reconciliation of trader P&L estimates to reported P&L actuals
- Month end ledger close, general ledger journals and balance sheet attestation
- Keeping the Head of Fixed Income and Treasury Control informed of any material issues and discussing resolution/improvement

**To be successful in the role you will have**:

- Advanced leadership, mentoring and coaching skills
- Significant prior experience in product control preferably at a major bank
- Knowledge of product system and general ledger systems
- Broad knowledge and understanding of accounting for financial and derivative products
- Project paper writing skills and financial modelling
- Treasury and / or Markets product and business knowledge
- Tertiary qualified, preferably with a Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance
- Full CA or CPA qualification desirable
