**Estimating Manager**:
**Position Overview**:
As the Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the estimating process, from initial bid preparation to final submission. You will lead a team of estimators, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure accurate and competitive bids. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contribute to the growth and success of our company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and mentor a team of estimators, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, and equipment.
- Review project plans and specifications to develop comprehensive bid proposals.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for bids.
- Analyze project requirements and constraints to develop value engineering solutions.
- Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing to ensure competitive advantage.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market conditions, industry trends, and pricing.
- Present bids to senior management for approval and participate in bid review meetings.
- Monitor and track bid results and provide feedback for future improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in estimating, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
