**About the Role**:
**Your responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
Preparing classrooms/ hall including rearranging and moving furniture
- Stocktaking and recording and engraving of school equipment/furniture and assets
- Clearing, hosing of drains and gutters, collection of waste, emergency cleaning duties including rubbish removal
- Maintaining school security
- WH&S compliance including using WH&S guidelines and procedures, safe storage of chemicals, fertilisers, fuels; attending to safety hazards maintaining tools and equipment
- Attending to and arranging maintenance within the school including students with disabilities
- Liaise with external persons e.g. tradespersons
- Maintaining sporting equipment and grounds
- Maintaining school grounds including mowing, weeding, watering and soil maintenance
- Maintenance of grounds equipment, e.g. mowers, brush cutters, tractors
- Take pride in the school grounds and their work.
- Have experience in grounds care and maintenance.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
