Pace are on the lookout for an up and coming logistics professional to join a renowned industrial manufacturer in Melbourne's West ASAP

As a Logistics Coordinator will need to have demonstrated experience ideally in a manufacturing or import / export environment handling inventory control, stock takes, coordinating dispatch of goods, processing relevant paperwork, raising purchase orders and receiving incoming goods into the system. An eye for detail, an appreciation for urgency and the willingness to be flexible are important in this high volume and dynamic environment as well experience in:

- Executing both purchase and sales contracts
- Liaising with customers located domestically and internationally regularly to update them about the status of their orders and handle requests / complaints
- Managing JIT shipments and working with production to meet customer demand
- Liaison with stakeholders in relation to freight bookings, cargo packing and deliveries and ensuring all export meets individual country requirements
- Assisting in the preparation of export and import documentation as required
- Inventory control & stock takes.

Required are excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability and keep open lines of communications between both internal and external stakeholders and ultimately the end client.
