**About the role**
Reporting to the ADF GSE Program Manager, you will be responsible for planning resource, cost and material requirements, assessing dependencies and communicating results for the ADF GSE contract. This function will support task leads through the integration of ADF GSE contract project schedules, workforce planning and cost control reporting.
- Some of your key responsibilities will include:_
- Gather information from various inputs to determine and recommend integrated, accurate and realistic portfolio schedule for GSE Projects.
- Work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders to identify and schedule resources to effectively support the delivery of ADF GSE projects.
- Analyse, test, and validate project schedules against objectives, deliverables, milestones and tasks.
- Establish, monitor and communicate critical paths to ensure alignment with business expectations.
- Providing advice, insights or recommendations on schedule options and strategies to maximise business outcomes.
**About you**
With a passion for the Defence industry, you will be dedicated to becoming an integral member of Babcock’s Defence business unit. You will be a decisive, confident and articulate communicator with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a demanding role. You will build strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders and pride yourself on your ability to provide accurate timelines and cost forecasts. You will have two plus years’ experience in project planning and scheduling and possess the following:
- Exposure to Prima Vera, IFS and Microsoft Project tools would be highly beneficial.
- Project scheduling and cost controls experience within Defence or Engineering industries
