**About You**

You are a motivated and experience senior leader who is passionate about ensuring the best in industry standards in detention environments are delivered. Your ability to build high levels of stakeholder engagement across a complex business is a priority which you use to ensure your team’s deliverables align to the business strategy. You have senior management experience with proven success in leading a large and successful team within a relevant operational services organisation.

**About the Role**

As the National Residential Manager, you will assist the Operations Director in leading the National Operations team in all areas of the Residential business within the Immigration contract and contributing to the successful delivery of strategic operational objectives. You will provide best practice SME advice, plan and execute purposeful and meaningful activities for detainees, and ensure a safe and humane environment for all personnel in the Immigration Detention Network (IDN).

To be successful in this role you will have:

- The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and Post-Graduate studies in Business, Human service, Leadership or other relevant areas.
- Demonstrate continuous industry knowledge development.
- Experience in managing a multi-disciplinary team at a senior level.
- At least 5 years’ experience in an equivalent Senior Management position.
- At least 7 years’ experience in Immigration or a related industry.
- Demonstrated track record in delivering excellence in the services industry specialising in Business to Government.
- Senior Management experience obtained within a relevant operational/ services organisation.
- Considerable experience within the immigration or equivalent industry.
- Budget and financial management experience with proven results against KPI’s.
- This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment, which includes national police check as an essential selection component for this role._
