We are looking for an experience BOH Manager to join our team at The Wood Fired Oven. As our BOH manager you will be responsible for preparing the store for opening, making pizza dough, and supervising a team of staff each day. Prior experience especially in Wood Fired Pizza would be beneficial but not necessary.
**Requirements**:
- Australian working rights
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Evenings and weekends availability a must
- Food safety certification is a plus
- We trade Tuesday-Saturday (Closed Sunday and Monday)
- Available to work 12pm-9.00pm Tuesday to Saturday.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen.
- Prior experience in a similar role in a restaurant or hospitality setting would be beneficial.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Manage and motivate kitchen staff to ensure a high level of performance and customer satisfaction.
- Train and mentor new kitchen staff members.
- Manage orders and ensure we run on time to the best of our ability.
- Coordinate food preparation, cooking, and presentation according to company standards.
- Maintain the BOH and cook line (Role dependant) and ensure we are operating at our peak during opening hours.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and the cleanliness of the kitchen and your workspace at all times.
- Prepare food items for service in the store and the food trucks.
- Support the business with suggestions and ideas to streamline and improve products and services.
- Maintain and support a team culture that is enjoyable and positive.
- Follow directions from other Managers and owners, but be involved with the ongoing growth of the business.
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene at all times.
- Follow company policy and procedures including reporting.
