Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria (RBGV) employs over 240 staff overseeing two beautiful world-class gardens, Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne and Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne.
What You'll Do
The Infrastructure Technician (Plant Operator) is responsible for the provision of reliable plant and equipment. This includes the provision of general maintenance as part of the Infrastructure team at Melbourne Gardens to develop and maintain hard landscape and built assets to agreed standards.
What You'll Bring
You are well-versed in maintaining hard landscapes to a high standard, as well as maintaining plant equipment. You take pride in working safely, strictly adhering to OH&S best practice and use of PPE as appropriate. A natural communicator, you can work effectively within a team and also offer high-quality customer service to visitors and other clients in a tourist destination. You are now looking to make a meaningful contribution to an iconic Victorian organisation in a full time, ongoing capacity.
