About Coominya State School
Located in the picturesque rural town of Coominya, west of Wivenhoe Dam, Coominya State School offers flexible, innovative and individualised instruction through our multi-age environments.
We have a large outdoor teaching and play area, two sporting ovals, a tennis court, and both a junior and senior playground. Our large teaching spaces are complimented by the most well-resourced library in the region. We host a playgroup every Wednesday and have before and after school care on site.
We pride ourselves on our commitment to the whole child; supporting our students' academic achievement and social and emotional development. Our dedicated teaching team works in partnership with our parents, P&C and support staff, including Social Worker, Speech Language Pathologist, Guidance Officer and Chaplain.
About the Role
**Responsibilities include**:

- Operate autonomously to undertake day to day office procedures within well-defined policies (e.g. reception, arranging appointments, correspondence, maintaining school records and general administration); and utilise information and management systems (e.g. OneSchool) to support effective and efficient reporting and administration.
- Undertake the day to day supervision and management of school support staff, including monitoring workloads and performance (working in collaboration with the Principal for any difficult performance management situations); identifying workforce capability requirements; and role modelling performance standards.
- Assist the Principal with the preparation of the school budget and administer day to day financial matters (i.e. accounts payable/receivable, corporate card monitoring, reconciliations, banking). Input and export data to/from OneSchool for the Principal, to assist with budgeting and financial management.

At Coominya State School, the Business Manager reports directly to the Principal.
Experience with One School and finance software is preferred by not required.
