**Role Details**

Our Out of Home Care Directorate (OoHC) is seeking a **Directorate Business Manager** to join on a full-time term basis.

The role is responsible for:

- Providing an advisory service on a range of HR, budgeting and business administration matters within the directorate.
- Building effective strategic networks, relationships and communication channels to achieve departmental goals.
- Increasing workforce and team effectiveness by providing leadership and guidance to staff.
- Contributing to the development of staff through sourcing and initiating training programs.
- Providing policy and project advice on financial and HR matters whilst managing budget and expenditure requirements for the unit.

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will be a confident individual with previous experience in client services, financial management, human resources and general management practices and principles.

You will have the ability to work effectively to achieve positive business results and display competence, initiative and sound judgment to identify service delivery improvements and opportunities, analyse and solve complex problems, and meet deadlines. You will use your effective communication skills to establish networks and maintain confidentiality.

If you have experience in the planning, preparation and reporting of budget allocations, and knowledge of government accounting standards, policies, and practices, then this may be the role for you.
