Supply Chain Coordinator - Permanent Opportunity - Growing Business - $85,000 + Super

**Your new role**

In your new role as Supply Chain Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:

- Leading the materials planning process to ensure production requirements are fulfilled in line with sales forecasts, ensuring adequate level of inventory on hand.
- Management of international suppliers, ensuring on time delivery of components and raw materials to support the manufacturing function, and following up with suppliers regarding any issues.
- Identification and implementation of improvement initiatives throughout the supply chain function, assisting management to source new suppliers and tender for freight contracts.
- Liaison with 3rd party freight and logistics providers to manage the import of components and export of finished goods to international markets.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the electronics or manufacturing industries.
- Demonstrated knowledge across materials planning, inventory management, procurement, and supplier management. Freight forwarding and logistics knowledge highly regarded.
- High-level systems skills, with ERP/MRP systems knowledge and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Track-record of continuous improvement, cost minimisation and attuned analytical skillset.
