**About the role**

The Accounts Officer will be responsible for performing tasks relating to Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Data Services (DS). This may include bank account reconciliations, end of month procedures, general finance support, banking, registrations, maintaining data records, date cleansing, and other tasks relevant to AR, AP and DS.

This role is a Fixed-TerM/Full-time (37.5 hours per week) - 6 months contract

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have the following:
**Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills**
- Experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable, as well as bank reconciliations.
- Experience with accounting software packages (Great Plains desirable), and fundraising platforms.
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience in updating and maintaining databases, and
- Experience using a CRM desirable.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting procedures.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Strong experience working with internal and external stakeholders and building relationships.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to follow procedure.
- Ability to work autonomously within a team environment.
