We are seeking a **Community Liaison Officer** for our **New Acland Mine**, to promote and deliver objectives of the Local Stakeholder Management Plan, amongst other duties

**What you’ll do**:

- Represent the New Hope Group and New Acland mine to community member and other stakeholders
- Develop and maintain constructive relationships with our community, internal and contractor stakeholders
- Provide feedback to the business on current and emerging community issues to ensure that they are considered in business decisions
- Ensures relationships with community stakeholders are constructive and continually being developed or maintained
- Support the implementation, monitoring and reporting against social performance plans and initiatives
- Provide input into the New Acland Mine operational plans relating to community
- Liaise and provide advice and support to the Landholder team as required
- Support the NAC Community Investment Fund activities at site and community level
- Support the NAC Community Reference Group engagement and delivery
- Coordinate the NHG Sponsorship and Donation program within the NAC catchment area

**What you’ll bring**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with the community, stakeholders and local networks
- High level literacy, numeracy and problem-solving skills, including intermediate computer skills.
- Demonstrated capacity to work both independently and as a part of a team, including time management and organisational skills.
- Experience in the delivery of community-based and/or sponsorship programs would be beneficial
