IT Analyst

New Hope Group is a majority Australian owned and operated diversified energy company which has been proudly based in Southeast Queensland for more than 60 years. With a core focus on coal, we also have interests in agriculture, oil, and port.

We are seeking a Systems Analyst to provide support onsite at New Acland Mine, on the Darling Downs, for end user computing and server and network infrastructure.

You will be a skilled and enthusiastic analyst and as the first point of call on-site, you’ll do your best to support and resolve issues in a timely manner and escalate when needed.

Based at New Acland Mine, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the existing members of the Technology team and be involved in project work.

**You will do**:

- First point of contact for Helpdesk support (telephone and face to face)
- User creation and management
- Provision end user devices such as workstations, mobile devices, VoIP phones
- Troubleshooting Server and Networking issues
- Basic administration of Microsoft 365 Platform
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software and systems
- Provide guidance to end users
- Liaise and collaborate with wider Technology team to provide solutions and improvements
- Identify opportunities to digitise existing manual processes

**You will bring**:

- Degree or Diploma qualification in IT, Computer Science, or closely related discipline
- Strong customer service
- Ability to work autonomously
- Passionate about IT and have a desire to deliver great service
- Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Driver’s licence and ability to travel
- Have knowledge of the following technologies:

- Microsoft Office 365
- Active Directory
- Security Management
- Vmware
- Fortinet Firewall
- SharePoint
- Windows servers
