**About Us**:
Chevallum State School is a Sunshine Coast school catering for students from Prep to Year 6. Our multi-age philosophy and practices attract families from all parts of the Sunshine Coast. The school implements the national curriculum which is delivered with an intellectually rigorous, transdisciplinary futures orientated focus.
Our school is focused on developing a community of learners in a caring, inclusive climate. We aim to develop balanced individuals who can operate as an integral part of the community, having respect for and understanding of individual and cultural differences.
**About the Role**:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Uphold the principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Active participants in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with parents, other government agencies, community groups, industry and business.
- Futures oriented and strategic.
- Understand the legislation and policies that impact on schooling.
