Creating exceptional experiences is at the heart of everything we do for our patients, their families, and our people across our specialised services within maternity, neonatal and women’s health.Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a tertiary Level 6A unit where specialist care is provided to sick and premature babies across Victoria. On average approximately 1600 babies are admittedeach year. The unit also has a key role in providing education and training for local, national and international health care professionals and has an extensive research program that included long term care follow-up. Our Neonatal Research team is also recognised as a leading international health professionals.The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit has been designed as one unit with both intensive care and SCN. Nursery pods: with a total of 54 cots. The NICU model of care is under pinned by several principals which were developed to improve consistency and continuity of care and the engagement of families

**Your contribution**

The Neonatal Ward Receptionist, as part of the Neonatal Services Team will provide excellant customer service and admisntration support, to ensure that patients and their families are treated with care and efficiency.

Your duties will include (but are not limited to) the following:

- Answering telephones, diverting calls as needed, photocopying and providing clerical and word processing support.
- Register patients on the inpatient managemnt system (iPM) assist with admissions and discahrges of neonatal patients
- Facilitate real time patient movement through iPM and EPIC
- Provide excellant Customer Serrvices to neoantal families and their supports

- Excellant time managment, with the ability to balance and compete conflicting priorities
