- ** Seeking dedicated Wark Clerk to be the front face of our busy day medical unit, delivering professional, caring customer service to patients, families, carers, and visitors.**:

**About the role**:

- You will work under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager and liaise with the Advanced Planning Administrator and the Advanced Planning Steward; the Nurse in Charge; other hospital departments, patients, their significant others and the public.
- Clerical and receptionist duties of the department, coordination of physical and telecommunication traffic of the department and manage patient administrative information using the electronic medical record
- Delivery of professional customer service in a caring manner to consumers, their families, carers and visitors
- Booking and managing several outpatient clinics run from 5WDMU.
- Answering the phones and directing calls to the appropriate persons.
- As the 5 West Day Medical [5WDMU] Ward Clerk, you are the front face of our unit and first to greet and check in patients for appointments. Role includes but it is not limited to; checking their personal details are correct on iPM and EPIC; confirming and providing details of upcoming appointments.

**About you**:

- Excellent customer service skills
- Computer skills/prior experience with iPM and EPIC desirable
- Excellent attention to detail
- Respectful, kind, punctual and team orientated personality
