We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to join our Mack Trucks Sales Team based in Derrimut. **What you will be doing**:

- Set and achieve short and long-term sales targets in collaboration with the Sales Manager
- Proactively prospect for new business and develop relationships with existing clients
- Conduct marketing and networking activities to generate quality leads
- Present and explain vehicle features, options, and benefits to customers
- Strive to exceed the national Customer Satisfaction Index
- Keep customers updated on vehicle delivery status and timelines
- Maintain strong post-sale relationships with regular follow-up and communication
- Ensure sold vehicles are ready for delivery, and guide customers through paperwork and operational information
- Refer completed deals to Finance & Insurance (F&I) and aftermarket teams
- Introduce customers to our service department, promoting the quality of our after-sales support
- Ensure vehicles are delivered on time and meet company quality standards

**What You’ll Need to Succeed**:

- Proven sales experience - Automotive industry experience is highly desirable
- A proactive, independent work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
- A friendly, warm, and professional personality who is punctual and trustworthy
- Strong communication skills to build new relationships and manage existing ones
- A current Heavy Duty Truck licence - advantageous but not essential
