**About the Role**

We are seeking **Residential Care Officers** with a genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities who have a range of support needs in community-based residential settings across **Melbourne**.

You will play a key role in helping our participants achieve their goals, develop life skills, and participate in daily and recreational activities. Shifts are available across a rotating 7-day roster (mornings, afternoons, sleepovers, and active nights), offering flexibility and consistency.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement person-centred care and support plans.
- Monitor participants’ health and emotional wellbeing, reporting concerns appropriately.
- Organise and facilitate social, recreational, and community activities.
- Promote and support independence in daily living tasks such as cooking, hygiene, and mobility.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and incident reports.
- Collaborate with families, support coordinators, and allied health professionals.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful home environment.
- Comply with safeguarding and NDIS practice standards at all times.

**Minimum Requirements**

Current and valid **Driver’s Licence**
**First Aid & CPR Certificate**
**National Police Check** (within 12 months)
**NDIS Worker Orientation Module** - _Quality, Safety & You_
**NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC)**
**Certificate III or higher** in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care, or related field
**Manual Handling Training**
**COVID-19 Double Vaccination Certificate**
**Right to Work in Australia**

Pay: $60,900.00 - $80,000.00 per year

- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
