**About the Role**:
Located in the outer northern suburbs and reporting to the Financial Controller, this newly created full-time, permanent role will be collaborating with the Finance and IT teams to extract intelligence from the Group's business systems and focusing on supporting and educating key users to enhance the suite of reports for better decision-making.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Continuously review and support the finance team on financial and management reporting to key users within the business. This includes reviewing and automation of existing reports and developing and maintaining a suite of dashboard reports across the business.
- Interpret and analyse complex data sets to extract meaningful insights for informed decision-making at all levels of the organisation.
- Bridge the gap between raw data and actionable insights, ensuring that information is presented in a clear and accessible manner, minimising the need for team members to interpret data independently.
- Demonstrate expertise in data interpretation, providing valuable insights that contribute to strategic decision-making processes.
- Translate disparate data into actionable recommendations, facilitating effective communication and understanding across various levels of the business.
- Provide functional support to end users, developing systems and reporting as appropriate.
- Support and work with the Team on the continuous improvement of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Act as a main point of contact within the finance team for system issues related to the ERP or BI software.
- Undertake designated project work and other ad-hoc work as directed by key management personnel within the business.
- Work as a member of a broader Finance Team to ensure all finance functions are prepared in an accurate and timely manner.
- Plan and execute projects within deadlines and budget constraints.
- Lead project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

**About You**:

- You're a team player with an analytical mindset and a drive to problem solve and challenge the data.
- You will have prior experience as a Data Analyst who understands business processes or has worked extensively with P&Ls
- You're skilled in business system analysis, process mapping and change management.
- Experienced in report writing, SQL, Power BI and other BI software.
- You have experience with the use and interrogation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- You have the ability to engage with internal stakeholders and support end users
- Confidently, you can work with a level of autonomy while taking on advise and being course corrected where needed.
- It is a requirement you will have a current SA drivers licence.
