**The Role**
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, our busy Building Services team in Newcastle is looking for enthusiastic and experienced Draftspeople to join the team. You will be joining an industry-leading team and will have the opportunity to contribute to wide-ranging, technically challenging projects.
The primary focus of this role will be to successfully plan and complete assigned drafting projects within agreed budgets and deadlines, consistent with company and project standards. The ability to consistently produce quality documents in agreed time frames will be key to successfully performing this role.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable person to possess the following qualities:
- Upwards of 3 years of proven Mechanical, Electrical or Hydraulic Drafting experience in Revit, with experience in Navisworks Manage clash detection and reporting, and basic design capabilities being advantages.
- Project experience in building services (mechanical, electrical or hydraulic services for buildings) across commercial, residential, educational, health and industrial projects.
- Experience working in design consultancies.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm coupled with a passion for the construction industry.
- Excellent communication skills - able to speak and write clearly and concisely.
- Providing guidance to the more junior members of the team.
