We have a fantastic opportunity for a full-time, permanent farm hand to begin working on a strawberry farm in Beerwah. This opportunity arises as we farewell a valued team member who has contributed to the organisation for the past 15 years. We are looking for applicants who are looking to establish themselves for the long haul and become a lasting part of our organisation. This opportunity is with a large strawberry farm that prides itself in growing top quality strawberries. Beerwah is located in the scenic Sunshine Coast hinterland, offering a relaxed rural lifestyle enriched by strong community spirit, diverse local produce, and easy access to both coastal amenities and natural attractions.

Although not essential - an HR licence would be very highly regarded. This would allow you to assist with truck driving responsibilities during the harvesting season.

**Key Responsibilities & Duties**
- To positively contribute to the overall crop production process.
- To positively contribute to the overall crop production process.
- Machinery operating for ground preparation, planting, fertilising & spraying.
- Irrigation changes
- Machinery and property maintenance.
- To be mindful and comply with best farm practices in relation to workplace health and safety requirements.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Strong work ethic - reliable and punctual.
- Good attitude and willingness to learn.
- HR Truck Licence not essential but very highly regarded.
- Some prior machinery operating experience.
- Have a background in horticulture.
- A sound mechanical skill set.
- Be fit, healthy and physically capable of carrying out this role.
- Ability to communicate and work in a small team.
- Must have a current driver’s licence and own transport.

Additional Information:

- Attractive salary offered with a probationary period of 3 months.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
