**The role**
This Higher Education client is seeking an experienced Manager - Security Governance, Risk and Compliance to lead the information security strategy across the organisation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the standardisation of Information Security management practices across the organisatrion
- Management and development of the information security strategy
- Assume overall responsibility for the creation and management of information security policies
- Manage the Information Security Awareness & Education program, across students and staff
- Provide authoritative advice and consultation on matters of Information Security risk and compliance issues.

**Essential skills**:

- Min 6 years of experience in Cyber Security Governance, Risk and Compliance
- Proven track record of delivering excellent cyber security outcomes.
- Strong understanding of guidelines, standards and legislation influencing Information Security.
- Formal certifications in CRISC and CISM will be highly regarded.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
