BGIS is currently seeking a motivated and skilled **Groundsman **to join our team in **Duntroon, ACT **. As a Groundsman, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the outdoor spaces of our client's facilities to ensure they remain safe, attractive, and functional.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine grounds maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, weeding, and pruning.
- Monitor and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Assist with planting, fertilizing, and watering of trees, shrubs, and flowers.
- Conduct regular inspections of outdoor areas to identify and address issues such as debris, litter, and hazards.
- Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- Support special projects and events as required, including setup and cleanup of outdoor spaces.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to maintain a safe work environment.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred.
- Knowledge of horticultural practices, including plant care and maintenance.
- Ability to operate groundskeeping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition with the ability to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and prolonged standing.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- **Must Be AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN**
