Groundsman Position

**Outdoor Maintenance Professional**

We are seeking a skilled Groundsman to maintain outdoor spaces in Canberra, Australia.

As a Groundsman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring these areas remain safe, attractive, and functional.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine grounds maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, weeding, and pruning.

- Monitor and maintain irrigation systems.

- Assist with planting, fertilizing, and watering of trees, shrubs, and flowers.

- Conduct regular inspections of outdoor areas.

- Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment and tools safely and efficiently.

- Support special projects and events as required.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping is preferred.

- Knowledge of horticultural practices is essential.

- Ability to operate groundskeeping equipment safely and effectively.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Good physical condition with the ability to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and prolonged standing.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary.
