An exciting opportunity is available for the position as Assistant Trainer to Peter & Paul Snowden at our Flemington Stable.

The successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects of organising and running of the stable.

**Essential skills**:

- Proven experience within the racing industry as Foreman;
- Excellent communication and time management skills;
- Extensive knowledge and experience with all aspects of horse care such as identifying injuries and administrating of treatments;
- Monitoring horses for soundness, injury or illness.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Communicating with farrier, vets, physio, dentist and spelling properties and the daily running and organising of the stable;
- Communicating weekly updates to owners;
- All necessary duties for race days;
- Clock trackwork times;
- Organising of staff with rosters.

The successful applicant will be awarded with a highly competitive salary.
