Key Responsibilities of the role will be, but not limited to:

- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with HVNL and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) regulations.
- Monitoring and interpreting changes in HVNL legislation and providing guidance to the project.
- Schedule and conduct random and targeted vehicle and driver audits to ensure compliance with Martinus safety standards.
- Conducting regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with HVNL and Chain of Responsibility requirements on key suppliers and Martinus.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, such as fleet managers and drivers, to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
- Providing training and education to employees on HVNL and Chain of Responsibility regulations and best practices.
- Investigating and resolving any HVNL-related near-misses, incidents or breaches.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to HVNL compliance.
- Liaising with external regulatory bodies and authorities to ensure adherence to HVNL requirements.
- Liaising with Inland Rail to ensure adherence to HVNL requirements
- Coordinate, deploy and oversee Martinus Safety Requirements relating to A2P project management plans, SMS policies and procedures that align with HVNL and CoR.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices related to heavy vehicle operations and compliance.
- Keep, monitor registers and prepare reports on maintenance and compliance activities.
- Identify, field test, report on, deploy and monitor safety technology for vehicles like Navman or similar products.

Project Fleet Transport
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Inland Rail requirements.
- Coordinate, deploy and oversee Martinus Safety Requirements relating to A2P project management plans, SMS policies and procedures that align with transport.
- Deploy and monitor safety technology applied to vehicles (IVMS, UHF/PTToC Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) communications systems), including key supplier's fleets involved in the project.
- Coordinate on and off-site IVMS repairs and maintenance.
- Monitor fleet condition to ensure standards are maintained with project requirements.
- Oversee, deliver and coordinate Geo-fencing requirements of the project for road usage.
- Investigating and resolving any IVMS-related incidents or breaches.
- Liaising with external regulatory bodies and authorities, including Inland Rail representatives.
- Keep, monitor registers and prepare reports on maintenance and compliance activities.
- Maintain the IVMS _Red, Amber, Green_ (RAG) weekly and monthly reporting requirements.
