**Assembly Technician**

**Opportunity**:
Are you a skilled and self-driven Pump Assembly Technician looking for an exciting career opportunity? We have the perfect role for you You will play a vital role in assembling and testing pumps. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will have the chance to showcase your technical expertise and contribute to the success of our company.

**Responsibilities**:
As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for:

- Assembling and testing pumps using components sourced from Asia and Europe.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of test results for all assembled pumps.
- Inspecting, reporting, and efficiently repairing returned pumps.
- Overhauling pumps to ensure optimal performance.
- Assisting with mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Contributing to the construction of skid systems and baseplates.
- Undertaking basic turning jobs, including impeller trimming.
- Performing electrical cabling tasks as required.

**What You Will Bring**:
To excel in this role, we are seeking someone with the following qualifications and experience:

- Trade certificate in machining or equivalent.
- Forklift certification (assistance available if required).
- Welding certification (beneficial but not necessary).
- Electrical Disconnect/Reconnect qualifications (assistance available if required).
- Experience in assembly and equipment testing.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage changing priorities.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Experience working with pumps and machining is preferred.
- Background in engines or other machinery trade would be advantageous.

Must have rights to work in Australia.
