**The opportunity**

As a Statutory Planning Officer, you’ll have the chance to contribute to diverse and impactful projects, conduct thorough reviews of developmental proposals to ensure compliance with zoning regulations, land use polices and building codes. You will deliver expert advice and guidance to developers, architects, and the public on planning matters.

**The successful applicant must have**
- Relevant qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning recognised by the Planning Institute Australia or substantial progress towards obtainment.
- Demonstrated experience in statutory planning, preferably in a municipal or governmental setting.
- Strong knowledge of planning principles, land use regulations, and environmental planning.
- Excellent analytical stills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- You must possess a current ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence and produce a police clearance that is less than 3 months old.
