You will plan and design Restaurant floor and kitchen layouts for optimal functionality. This position is integral to the success of our rapidly growing business, as a well designed dining and kitchen space ensures our day to day operations run smoothly.

**Key Duties**:

- Planning the Restaurant layout, including placement of commercial kitchen equipment
- Using your expertise to overcome and issues or restrictions
- Working within a timely schedule to ensure completion of tasks all the way through to final stages
- Ensuring design functionality
- Conducting frequent site visits
- Provide feedback and recommendations to streamline projects and make improvements
- Clearly and concisely documenting and presenting design concepts to all stakeholders involved

**The successful applicant will**:

- Be a skilled Commercial Interior Designer/Architectural Drafter having worked on spaces like Kitchens, Restaurants and Offices
- Be able to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawing sets
- Work with a high degree of autonomy and also as part of a wider team
- Have a strong understanding of Australian Design Standards
- Be able to use programs like AutoCAD, 3D Max, Photoshop and SketchUp at a highly efficient level
- Display a strong eye for detail
- Be able to design using cost effective methods
- Have product knowledge in relation to materials, fixtures and finishes, furniture and styling
- Have a full Drivers License and own car to travel to different sites if need be (advantageous)
