**The opportunity**:
We are on the lookout for a
**Data Insights and Visualisation Analyst** to join our dynamic team Reporting directly to GM IT, the Data Insights and Visualization Analyst will be responsible for turning raw data into actionable insights to drive business decisions. They will be responsible for building and delivering insights using visualisation and querying tools, enabling better decision-making, promoting self-service, and improving data literacy.
**Key duties and responsibilities**:
- Build and Provide insights across business areas.
- Engage with business users to consult and recommend best possible way to answer their business data questions.
- Provide rapid answers to business questions using a mix of queries and visualisations.
- Support ad hoc data requests from across business areas.
- Integrate digital data such as website traffic and page views with the warehouse to develop actionable insights to drive business decisions.
- Build customer segmentation analytics and campaign performance reporting.
- Set up monitoring and alerting mechanisms to identify data issues and exceptions.
- Proactively organising training and development activities for business to facilitate adaption.
- Design and build reporting data models that support user self-serve reporting
**The skills and experience you offer us**:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, economics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related field.
- Experience with data visualisation and querying tools such as The Retail Score, Tableau, and SQL. [AS1]
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and visualisations.
- Knowledge of digital marketing analytics and metrics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
