Finance Business Partner

**Job Purpose**

The position of Finance Business Partner will manage the financial support of the Alimak Group Australia Pty Ltd, Service and Sales and operation areas, providing full support to Country Financial Controller and management team. In addition to the overall AU Group Reporting and supporting function, this role primarily be responsible for CON, RENTAL, and IND Divisions.

**Key Tasks**
- Ensure adherence to the financial policies, systems and processes of Alimak Group
- Support the development and delivery of Australian Annual Operating Budget within the agreed timelines.
- Accountable for the delivery of accurate information within deadlines as required from the Senior Management Team or their departments.
- Provide accounting support and advice to Alimak Group management as required.
- Ensure all external reporting and payment deadlines are met. e. Statutory accounts, tax returns, GST, PAYG, Payroll Tax.
- Control ledgers and accounts for efficient production of monthly results.
- Control and payment of petty cash, expenses and credit card returns within the approval limit of the DOA.
- Assist management in production of forecasts and budget reviews.
- Provide and report on variance analysis relating to forecasts and budgets.
- Assist in Preparation of statutory accounts.
- Provide information in order to compute Corporation Tax as requested by tax advisors.
- Provide job costing data on projects as required.
- Control and safeguard the company’s assets, maintaining an accurate asset register.
- Accurately supervise, maintain and appropriately report all Project revenue and costing on periodical basis. Ensure Sales and Operation staff cost/ Budget estimates on projects are reasonably accurate.
- Instigate post project reviews on all projects with unfavorable margins against the budgeted margins
- Maintain all KPI performance and Sales Commission accruals data bases are up to date
- Ensure all end of month tasks are completed on time and Aaro reporting schedules are maintained and updated accurately
- Ensure appropriate support is extended to Country Financial Controller in ensuring monthly Aaro reporting deadlines are met.
- Ensure Pricing tool on rental projects are up to date.
- Ensure robust forecasting systems and processes are in place to understand immediate and future cash flows.

**Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of Financial, Manufacturing and Sales process at a managerial level
- Leadership skills with ability to influence and inspire both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrable Financial Accounting and Management knowledge at Operational level.
- Demonstrable Management Accounting knowledge.
- Experience of contract negotiation, risk identification, risk mitigation and risk management.
- Excellent troubleshooting and logical analysis skills.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Experienced in operating at management level within a medium sized global organisation.
- Evidence of Financial Management experience, with strong motivating ability.
- Evidence of financial management in a Manufacturing and Engineering facility working across borders.
- Experience in financial management in a long lead time environment in a multinational environment.
- Experience in WIP accounting.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Business or Finance, or other equivalent qualification.
- CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification
