**Your new company**
A well-known civil construction company which operates across Queensland, Northern New-South Wales, and Victoria. With an increase of projects in the pipeline, the company are looking for an experienced civil supervisor to join the team.

**Your new role**
You will have experience in the urban space that will be motivated to lead a team and facilitate the day to day running of all civil works across the project. This role will be responsible for the delivery and use of equipment, scheduling of materials and efficiency of labour, whilst maintaining health and safety. Responsibilities:

- Lead & mentor the team
- Forecasting and programming
- Procurement and scheduling of labour, subcontractors, equipment, and materials
- Efficient and economic use of resources
- Administration including timesheets, delivery dockets and site diary
- Undertake prestarts, toolbox meetings, site inductions, VOC of plant operators, audits and reporting and checking operator tickets
- Maintaining a high level of health and safety on site & reporting incidents
- Referring to and communicating the requirements of DBYD, PMP’s, SWMS’s, and SDS’s

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Significant civil construction experience on subdivision projects
- Experience in working with authorities such as local councils and service authorities
- Excellent client relationship management
- Rapport with subcontractors
- Ability to schedule and manage time effectively
- People management, conflict management and resolution skills
