**ICT Procurement and Contracts Manager**
- 6 month contract + 6 month extension option
- Australian Citizens only, eligible for a Baseline Security Clearance

Our Fed Gov Client is looking for an ICT Procurement and Contracts Manager to join and maintain their Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) infrastructure and provide strategic leadership, governance, solutions and advice for the effective management of information.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Establish and manage multiple ICT contracts aligned with the Client's strategic objectives
- Deliver highly complex and/or sensitive procurement services for the department, in line with whole of government procurement strategy and governance frameworks
- Manage existing IT vendors' performance and compliance with their contract, SLAs, and performance metrics
- Maintain vendor performance metrics for technical, process, and business outcomes
- Provide advice on government-coordinated ICT procurement arrangements
- Prepare procurement and contract lifecycle documentation
- Negotiate complex contracts with key business stakeholders on behalf of ICT
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential ICT vendors and stay informed of industry trends
- Manage contracts and agreements with ICT vendors, monitoring performance, delivery, and payment schedules
- Document all procurement and contract management activities for an audit trail
- Provide high-level support, advice, and reports on procurement and contract management, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Maintain probity and discretion in procurement activities
- Report on vendor performance to ensure delivery aligned with contractual and performance metrics
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, technical staff, and stakeholders to address issues and identify opportunities
- Monitor and manage IT contracts against budget forecast.

**Essential**:

- Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting and/or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in government contract management within an ICT environment
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the management of performance-based ICT service contracts within a large organisation
- Extensive knowledge and experience in analysing and reviewing contract performance in accordance with contractual obligations
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders and build effective relationships and networks
- Extensive written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare and present complex and technical documents
- Project Management experience (Desirable)
