The Opportunity Samsung Electronics Australia is looking for a Demand Planner responsible for a combination of Pure Player and E Store responsibilities. This role will involve owning the end to end demand planning and forecast management including but not limited to aged inventory management, out of stock management, delivery fulfilment in E-Store to enhance customer experience. Role and Responsibilities - Ensure promotions forecast is planned and reflected in the system to capitalise on sales opportunities - Conduct and manage division SCM meetings to reach forecast consensus - Align and input Initial forecast (Pre-order) for new products to secure stock in advance - Contribute to and implement the online last mile strategy with a focus on product fulfilment and customer satisfaction - Work with logistics teams and warehouse on Capacity planning, allocation of resource, and courier Skills and Qualifications To be successful for the role, you should have a "can do" attitude with a proactive approach. Relevant experience / skills include: - Demand planning and forecasting experience - Inventory/logistics management experience - Demonstrated experience in ecommerce logistics and last mile fulfilment - Experience in vendor management and project management - Intermediate MS Excel and SAP Hybris skills preferred What sets us apart from the rest?
