**Job description**

We are currently seeking an experienced handyman to handle various repair and maintenance tasks for residential and commercial properties in Melbourne. This role involves a range of general handyman duties, including fixing, assembling, minor refurbishments, and appliance installations as needed.

**Your responsibilities include**:

- Perform urgent, routine, and ad-hoc maintenance, repairs, and inspections on client premises.
- Carry out basic carpentry work, including installing doors, locks, cabinets, and hanging wall fixtures and frames.
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including painting, plastering, and minor repairs.
- Assist with bathroom/kitchen renovations and makeovers.
- Handle rubbish removal, including the use of a van for waste disposal.
- Collect materials from suppliers (e.g. Paint shops, Bunnings) as required.
- Ensure all work is completed thoroughly, efficiently, and within required timeframes.
- Keep work sites and company vehicles clean and organized.
- Ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met, including response times, safety, and compliance.
- Taking sufficient photos and videos before and after service.
- Proficiency in using the company’s system for service order management.
- Maintain clear communication with the company and provide timely updates on work progress and outcomes.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Proven experience in general handyman services.
- Strong carpentry, painting, and repair skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong team and work ethic
- Current and valid full Australian driver’s licence
- Ability to push and pull varying weights
- English and Mandarin preferred.
